A Christmas Message of Hope for California
As we celebrate Christmas with our families and loved ones, I want to speak directly to every Californian who has been fighting, often quietly, often tirelessly, to save the state we cherish.
California is still a place of breathtaking beauty and boundless possibility. From our coastlines to our valleys, from our small towns to our bustling cities, this land has always been shaped by people of faith, family, and community. People who believe in hard work, in fairness, in raising children with our shared values and who will contribute to making society better for all.
And yet, we all know the sad truth. Corruption and broken systems have driven families away and is destroying our state. Policies that serve politicians instead of people have strained Californians to the breaking point, forcing them to leave the place they love. Many feel like we are standing before a giant, an entrenched, one party power structure that seems impossible to challenge.
But I want to remind you of something that will give you hope this holiday season: giants fall.
Not by might, not by wealth, not by political favor but by courage, conviction, and the faith of the people that refuse to give our state over to those that would destroy it, and have chosen to remain and fight. I have had the honor of meeting and working with many of you in this last year and I see your passion and tireless commitment to saving California.
David didn’t defeat Goliath because he was the strongest. He won because he believed God was with him, and because he refused to accept that the giant before him was unbeatable. That same spirit lives in every Californian who refuses to give up on this state.
I’m on social media every day, reading your comments, hearing the frustration and the righteous anger of residents who love this state and are tired of watching it decline. Let’s channel that energy into turning California around.
Just this week a judge ruled that AB1995 was unconstitutional which is a great victory for parents. These battles that we are winning are stacking up and should give us hope for what we can accomplish together in the coming year.
Together, we can end one party rule.
We can block policies that harm families and reward insiders.
We can enact policies that will make California safe and affordable for every family.
We can restore balance, accountability, and hope to our state.
So this Christmas, may your home be filled with peace, your heart with renewed strength, and your spirit with the certainty that California’s story is not finished. Giants still fall. Light still overcomes darkness. And California is still worth fighting for.
Merry Christmas, California.
May God bless you, your family, and the beautiful state we are fighting to restore.
