Finding Common Ground in a Polarized World

Join us for a unique community conversation.

A Democrat and a Republican will share why they believe what they believe, not to debate, but to recognize the person behind the politics and explore common ground.

Guided by mediator and psychotherapist Nancy Ross, this interactive event invites the audience to participate, listen, and connect. The goal isn’t to change minds, but to see one another as people, not opponents. I will be speaking as the Republican and Randy from Braver Angels will be the Democrat.

This will take place at the Cupertino Library, 10800 Torre Ave, on Friday January 23rd at 6:30pm.

All are welcome to attend and be part of this hopeful, healing dialogue.

Summer Picnic

You're Invited!

Join us for a Republican Summer Picnic at a Morgan Hill Lavender Farm —a festive day of unity, fun, and grassroots energy!

We'll have food, games, live music, and learn about volunteer opportunities and the latest high tech apps for voter canvassing that we will be using to build up our grass roots ground game to help candidates win in 2026!

We will also be talking about  our voter outreach efforts against Newsom's November special election scam to redistrict our already gerrymandered state and what you can do to help get the word out to voters. This is an important issue that we all need to working together on.

Meet candidates:

  • Carol Pefley for California State Assembly District 28

  • Bob Brunton for California State Assembly District 24

  • Gus Mattammal for State Superintendent of Public Instruction

Attention ladies, we will be picking lavender bouquets, making lavender tea and sachets while sipping lavender champagne! Or if you prefer, you can reserve time on the bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, corn hole, bucket golf, ping pong and pool.

Let’s come together, celebrate conservative values, and energize our communities for the road ahead. Bring your family, your questions, and your passion!

RSVP today and spread the word—it’s a picnic with purpose!
