A New Day is Dawning

For too long, conservatives in California have endured ridicule, isolation, and outright hostility, not because we’ve done harm, but because we’ve stood firm in our faith, our love for this country, and our desire for safe streets, affordability, good schools, and a chance at the American Dream. We’ve been called names, silenced, and pushed to the margins simply for believing in God, valuing family, and wanting accountability in government.

Many have left, worn down by the weight of cancel culture and the relentless attacks. But those of us who remain, we are the remnant. We’ve held the line, prayed through the storm, and now, finally, we see a glimmer of hope. The Voter ID initiative is moving forward. The supermajority can be broken in 2026. Hearts and minds are shifting. A revival is stirring in this land.

As Scripture says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” - Isaiah 60:1

Carol Pefley for California State Assembly District 28

I’m running for State Assembly to help restore balance and bring common sense back to California’s government. I believe in a future where families can thrive, small businesses can succeed, and opportunity is within reach for all. This is still a great state—and with the right leadership, we can make it more affordable, more accountable, and more hopeful for generations to come.
