It’s a great day to be an American

If you woke up this morning feeling a little more secure, a little more prosperous, and a lot more proud to be an American, congratulations, you’re living in Trump’s America. And yes, even if you’ve got a mild case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, you might want to sit down and say it with us, Thank You Mr. President. We know it hurts, Democrats (take deep breaths and call your therapist).

Let’s start with the biggest headline, Trump ended the war in Gaza. That’s right. After two years of bloodshed with hostages being held in captivity Trump pulled off what no one else could, a peace deal between Israel and Hamas. Hostages are coming home, troops are withdrawing, and the Middle East is finally seeing a glimmer of hope. Nobel Peace Prize? He’s already got the tux picked out.

But wait, there’s more. Trump’s peace portfolio includes ceasefires and conflict resolutions across the globe. I was literally kicked off of NextDoor just for mentioning President Trumps accomplishments so I will proudly list them here (without fear of being suspended!):

  • India and Pakistan: Ceasefire after missile strikes

  • Armenia and Azerbaijan: Peace deal signed at the White House

  • Thailand and Cambodia

  • Rwanda and Congo

  • Egypt and Ethiopia

  • Serbia and Kosovo

All saw Trump’s diplomatic fingerprints. President Trump has been able to convince world leaders that peace and prosperity are a lot better then war and poverty and it's working!

Back home, Washington D.C. went from Gotham to Mayberry. Trump’s federal takeover of the crime ridden capital led to:

  • 60% drop in homicides

  • 40% reduction in burglaries

  • Zero illegal aliens released into the city for four straight months

Gas prices? Down. Energy independence? Up. Thanks to Trump’s rollback of Biden era regulations and his brilliant energy strategy, Americans are paying less at the pump and more attention to their road trip playlists.

And while we’re talking numbers, Trump negotiated $17 trillion in foreign investment commitments, with countries like Japan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia pledging billions to boost American jobs and infrastructure. Sure, some economists are still doing the math and we'll have to wait to see how all of this plays out but what other President has even tried to do this?

Let’s not forget protecting girls’ sports. Trump’s executive order “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” restored fairness, safety, and sanity to locker rooms and playing fields across America. Female athletes are cheering.

And of course, the border is secure. Illegal crossings hit a 55 year low. Cartels are on the run. The wall’s getting taller. And sanctuary cities? Let’s just say they’re not feeling very sanctified.

So what’s next? California, you’re up. It’s time to take this show on the road. From Silicon Valley to Sacramento, we need to bring back law and order, lower costs, and restore common sense. Let’s make California golden again!

Whether you’re a proud Republican, a recovering Democrat, or just someone who misses affordable groceries and safe neighborhoods, it’s a great day to be an American. And yes, even Joy Behar and Rosie O'Donnell know deep down that it's true. We really hit the jack pot when we elected President Trump (sorry Kamala)!

Thank you, President Trump. Now let’s make California Great Again.

Carol Pefley, Candidate for Ca State Assembly

Carol Pefley for California State Assembly District 28

I’m running for State Assembly to help restore balance and bring common sense back to California’s government. I believe in a future where families can thrive, small businesses can succeed, and opportunity is within reach for all. This is still a great state—and with the right leadership, we can make it more affordable, more accountable, and more hopeful for generations to come.
