SMS Terms of Service — Carol for Assembly 2026

Effective date: December 1, 2026

  1. Program. Carol for Assembly 2026 sends recurring text messages about Carol Pefley's campaign for California State Assembly District 28, including campaign news, event and public-meeting alerts, volunteer opportunities, voting reminders and fundraising requests.

  2. How to join. You opt in by checking the SMS box on a campaign web form or by texting Carol to (650)714-3860. Consent is not required to sign up, volunteer or donate.

  3. Frequency. Message frequency varies, up to 2 messages per month, and may increase near Election Day (November 3, 2026).

  4. Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

  5. Opting out. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to rejoin.

  6. Help. Reply HELP or email carolforassembly@gmail.com

  7. Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission.

  8. Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  9. Privacy. Your mobile number and opt-in consent are handled under our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

  10. Changes. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version.
